Hey everyone!
Welcome to the Summer Sendoff Beauty Contest!

This contest will be open for entries from September 1st until September 22nd. The Alacrity staff will take a week to bask in the glow of your beautiful dogs, and winners will be announced on September 30th!



Contest Rules & Guidelines
01. This contest is free to enter, and you may enter any breed.
02. One entry per person, not per account. Your entry must be a dog you own.
03. This isn't just about how pretty your dog is -- it's also about your decorating skills! Your dog must be equipped with at least a background and one item. You don't need to be rich to do this! There are lots of great items in the main shops. More items (or more expensive items) doesn't always mean a better scene.
04. You must leave the items equipped and untouched on the dog you enter from the time you enter until the winners are announced.
05. The theme for this contest is "summer fun". So keep your scenes summer themed!
06. Entries close at 11:59PM (Ala time) on September 22nd.



Placement & Prizes
We have three big prizes for this contest:
 • 1 Scholar Collar
 • 15 bones
 • A custom dog of your own design

First place winner will get first pick from those three, 2nd place will get to choose between the two left, and 3rd place will get the remaining item.

That's not all, though...
Everyone* who enters without disqualification will receive $5000!
(*except the winners)



Disqualifications
 • Trying to enter more than one dog, whether through a second account or otherwise.
 • Posting an entry after 11:59PM (Ala time) on September 22nd.
 • Entering a dog whose scene does not fit the theme.
 • Entering a dog who is not equipped with a background and at least one item.
 • Making any changes to your dog's scene between September 23rd and September 30th.

Doing any of these things will get you disqualified. This means your entry won't be counted, and you won't get to make another entry to the contest in its place!




How to Enter
To enter your dog in this beauty contest, please post the dog's image in reply to this thread.
Improperly posted entries will not be considered, so please take care to do this correctly! You can always ask for help in the Issue Hub if you're having problems. :)

 How to Post an Image:
 Copy and paste the following code. Replace the bold text with the dog's image URL:
    <img src="image URL here">

 How to Get an Image URL:
 Go to the page of the dog you would like to enter, and follow the instructions below based on which browser you use:
Firefox: Right click on the dog's picture, and select the option that says "Copy image location".
Chrome: Right click on the dog's picture, and select the option that says "Copy image URL".
Opera: Right click on the dog's picture, and select the option that says "Copy image address".
Internet Explorer: Right click on the dog's picture, and select "Properties". In the box that comes up, copy the URL listed as the Address.
