Alacrity is an agility dog sim focused on breeding dogs with specific markings and coats while excelling in agility at the same time. Targeted on agility dog breeds. Focus training on specific agility objects and enter trials that feature items your dog excels in. Accessorize your dog with unlimited items, and put them inside a living room with backgrounds or give them a companion to keep them company!
Your dogs only live each day you login. So don't worry if you miss a day!
The server migration should now be complete!!
Only things left to wipe away most of the old code now are the auction and the page headers .

Since traffic is a bit low this week,We will conduct some emergency server maintenance and retire the old server.

And www will be down for maintenance from midnight PDT until 7am PDT.
After that we’re off the old cluster and should have much (more! ) improvement to speed and stability
user shops are live... The new features:
1/ shop log . tracks all your purchases , sales,edits etc.
2/ improved buy / sell functionality. (no more transaction errors)
3/ layout customization (the web has changed in a decade, some css security has to be done) , shop names, image, description, custom css .
4/ persistent pricing (you can set a price for an item, and when you restock it, that price will remain)

I'll be posting the current update without too much additional feature work b/c I want to prepare for halloween. but this is what will be coming soon
1. 'restock' button. this will allow you to click an item profile and pull all the stock from your inventory straight into your user shop. no more fishing. will come in varying restock flavors : '1 item' , 'selected items' , 'everything'
2. sales stats. think leaderboards , your personal use, etc.
3. make an offer.
this is kind of a big deal. I spent almost a month on this in august waffling back and forth when working on the auction.
The best answer for this is 'private chats' that allow you to post an offer into a chat'
so private chat will be coming back to alacrity, as will offers.
why so much work on shops and auction
Firstly, these are more or less the last pieces of the original alacrity ( and 1 other lurking software) that need to be redone. The old code needs to be retired so we can start making large scale improvements to the site.
Second, I want to add daily tasks for players, so they can earn in game money, and have new things to do. Players will be able to contribute and take part in the local game economy, such as crafting of various items (food and other consumables for starters) . To craft, there will be some fetch quest style activities or collection quests and what not. This will allow players to sell their materials or produce at the market
We need a shop for that.
housing and such will also require labor and materials, so again, players can offer services through this facility as well.
